Suertes del Marques Trenzado 2014 (Canary Islands, Spain)
A savory dry white made from predominantly Listán Blanco, this tangy, thirst-quenching white takes its name from a trellis system, unique to the Canary Islands, that is known locally as 'el cordon trenzado' (braided canes). The nose is loaded with spice, matchstick and stone fruit aromatics that remind of certain old school white Burgundies. Then the palate is loaded with flavor and racy freshness with pear, stone fruit, grapefruit bitters and a zesty finish. An absolutely unique and delicious wine - an adventure in a glass.
