About the Producer
The fruit of a subtle blend of Pinot Meunier (70%) and Chardonnay (30%), mostly from a single harvest, this Champagne reveals unique aromas combining touches of berries and notes of white flowers. Its golden yellow color with a light glint charms you at the very first glance. This blend and almost three years of aging give Cuvee Prestige its exceptional finesse and incredible lightness that works well for the even those who typically do not drink champagne due to its “sharpness.” Perfect for a toast, but also works great with food as the small bubbles and relatively light carbonation allow the wine’s fruit to express itself with many food combinations.

The husband and wife team of Michel and Martine Loriot took over operation of the family vineyards and winery with a great deal of passion and a strong sense of responsibility to the tradition that comes with being a fourth generation independent vigneron in a landscape of cooperatives and mass producers. From their blocks of vineyards (seven hectars) around the charming spring-filled

Festigny
, the Loriots cultivate all three of the major champagne grapes: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. Depending upon the vintage, the Loriots will emphasize different varietals in their flagship wines, with a particular fondness for Pinot Meunier dominated blends. As a result of this traditional passion, the champagnes of Michel Loriot have been selected by the largest champagne growers union to represent the benchmark for the Pinot Meunier varietal in terms of quality and pure reflection of the concept. The Loriots produce wines from Extra Brut, through semi-dry and from blends to single varietals in their gravity fed winery that boasts a traditional wooden press and a tasting room that features the original press installed by Léopold Loriot in 1903.
