Bond Street
Wines was launched in 2005 by Eric Bowers. A wine enthusiast himself, he sought to introduce
a new concept by bringing U.S.
consumers the advantages of direct distribution, which he witnessed in Europe. The wine producers that he discovered through his
international travel impressed him with their timeless approach to quality and
passion for creating unique wines that are true to tradition and sense of
place. He had often been frustrated due to the lack of availability of these
wines in the U.S.
To solve this problem, he partnered with David
Remmers of European based La Bella Terra Fine Wines & Living, to
join as global sourcing partner. La Bella Terra facilitates relationships with
top growers in France, Italy, Spain,
and the New World. With the help of La Bella
Terra, Bond Street Wines now has a direct relationship with our portfolio producers,
a key and proud distinction from other U.S. wine retailers. We are a
single intermediary between the storied producer and the consumer.
At present, Bond Street
representatives serve to maintain close contact with clients, desiring a "high
touch and consultative" relationship. For those interested in our portfolio wines,
